The 2019 Cadillac CTS has a powerful selection of engines and sporty handling. The 2019 CTS is an excellent luxury mid-size vehicle. The 2019 CTS has many standard features, including dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity key entry, push-button start, remote start, and an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with wireless charging, a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, two USB ports, satellite radio, an 11-speaker Bose audio system, and smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

You can use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto to connect your phone to the car's system, and interface with Cadillac's User Experience infotainment display (CUE). Even simple controls like volume and climate can be adjusted adjusted through touch-sensitive buttons instead of more ubiquitous physical knobs.

The 2019 Cadillac CTS comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower. You may also consider one of the optional V6 engines. The mid-range is a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 335 horsepower, and there's a twin-turbocharged V6 that puts out 420 horsepower. Both V6 engines deliver stunning power for accelerating and cruising down the highways of Alberta, but the twin-turbo is truly a furious beast. All these engines are connected to a well engineered eight-speed transmission that shifts so smoothly you won't believe it.

The royal head of the CTS lineup is the performance ready CTS-V. It's run by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that cranks out an astounding 640 horsepower. The CTS-V accelerates from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 200 miles per hour. Don't blink, or you'll miss it.

With the standard four-cylinder engine and two-wheel drive, the 2019 CTS gets 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The mid-range V6 engine returns 19 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, and the twin-turbo V6 gets 16/24 mpg city/highway. Fuel economy with the CTS-V is 14/21 mpg.

Perfectly tuned handling and power make the car feels as at home on the highway as in the city. Gripping the road amazingly, and controlled body motion make the ride spectacular, with just the right amount of give - but not too much. The CTS earned the highest score possible in four crash tests at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The CTS comes with rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, and Teen Driver mode. Optional advanced safety features are lane departure warning, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, a following distance indicator, a head-up display, a surround-view parking camera, a rear view mirror camera, automatic parking assist, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, adaptive headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a safety alert seat.

With the 2019 Cadillac CTS you can choose from five trim levels: base, Luxury, Premium Luxury, V-Sport, and V-Sport Premium Luxury. You can choose from a number of engine options, and the vehicle come with rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional. The CTS comes with loads of features and amenities like a Bose stereo, smartphone integration, wireless charging, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.
